From stickers to binders to pencil cases, Lisa Frank merchandise was what divided the cool from the broke. Lisa Frank was one of the first fine artists to gear her designs toward children rather than wealthy art collectors. And her gamble paid off big, at the peak of her popularity, Lisa Frank Inc was taking in more than $150 million dollars a year.
