Ep 3 - Raw Pu'er From Yiwu Mountain Ancient Bush Blend - Jake Dirnberger and Josh Hyde

The host and tea importer from Trident Cafe, Jake Dirnberger, samples a fresh ancient arbor raw pu'er from the Yiwu mountains with filmmaker, Josh Hyde.

This blend is Trident’s very first pu’er pressing, and was produced in partnership with yiwumountaintea.com, who grew and processed the material for the blend. It is a mix of ancient tree material from Gaoshan and Mahei villages in the Yiwu mountains harvested in the Fall of 2019. It was blended to be smooth and aromatic but also have plenty of body and strength.

It is an all-around high quality tea being offered at an extremely reasonable price, and a classic example of the highly sought after Yiwu terroir. Perhaps not a tea for beginners since its character is more subtle, it would make an excellent choice for a budget-conscious connoisseur or specialty-tea drinker looking to level up.
