Produced in partnership with Scott Wilson at Yunnansourcing.com, this autumn tea blend from three different villages in Lincang county is a rock-solid, budget-friendly, and thirst-quenching young tea. It features big, burly olive-green leaves and is bud heavy. It has a full sugary-sweet flavor and a strong grassy/floral backbone. Blended primarily for strength and sweetness, it has a persistent character, with desirable kuwei (bitterness which doesn’t linger but transforms quickly into back of palette sweetness). They also discuss the history and consumption of pu'er tea in general.
