Ludwig van Beethoven and a little piano curtain
Om avsnittet
Our special guest in this programme is the great Ludwig van Beethoven with his beautiful little collection of National Airs with Variations, Op.107, which can be played on the piano with flute or violin accompaniment.
We will:
-talk about the original instruments that were in use in Beethoven's time.
-demonstrate a range of different stops on a period piano with 5 pedals
-Compare a historical and a modern edition as well as a very bizarre one
Scores are here, we are playing the Air n.3 https://s9.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/9/90/IMSLP51319-PMLP18527-Op.107.pdf
-have fun with an unexpected fugue
