Ep. 20: Adept Adaptations

In this week's episode of IVM Likes we have Navin, Abbas and Joshua in the studio. In our recommendation round Josh recommends a Malayalam gangster film that is aesthetically shot, Abbas recommends a book about a terrorist attack on a holy shrine, and Navin talks about a Netflix series that's a murder mystery exposing the hypocrisies of the Catholic church. In our second segment the three of them discuss their favourite book-to-film adaptations, what exactly is a "faithful" adaptation and whether at all a film can ever be better than the book.
