Devotional for Faith: When the Ground Gives Way

What happens when the ground gives way beneath your feet? When the diagnosis comes back positive, when the person you love walks away, when the life you built collapses without warning?

In this premium 30-minute devotional, Elijah takes you on a deep journey through the nature of biblical faith — not the polished, comfortable kind, but the raw, desperate, white-knuckle faith that holds on when every rational voice says let go.

Through the stories of Abraham's twenty-five year wait, Peter's walk on water, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace, and the testimony of a man rebuilt from prison, you will discover that faith is not a feeling — it is a choice. And it is the most powerful force in the universe.

Scriptures explored:
- Hebrews 11:1 — The substance of things hoped for

- James 1:2-4 — The testing of faith produces perseverance
