Quiet Devotional for gods mercy in sickness

Have you ever gotten really bad news about someone you love? Maybe a phone call in the middle of the night. Maybe a doctor's face that told you everything before the words even came out. That moment when your stomach drops and the world goes quiet and all you can think is, no, not them, please not them. If you've been there, you know exactly what I'm talking about. And if you haven't been there yet, well, chances are one day you will. That's just part of being human in this broken world. My dear friend, I want to talk to you today about the mercy of God in the middle of sickness. Because when illness hits, it doesn't just affect the body. It affects everything. Your faith. Your hope. Your ability to pray. Your ability to even think straight. And in those moments, you need to know that God is still there. He hasn't left you. He hasn't forgotten you. His mercy is still flowing, even when it doesn't feel like it. There's a story in the Bible about a man named Jairus. He was a synagogue leader, a man of influence and reputation. And his daughter was dying.
