HOW THE WORD BUILDS THE WALL
Most people believe words are labels we stick onto things that already exist. They think the thought comes first and the word comes second to report it. But the word you have available shapes the thought you're able to think. The brain reaches for the word closest to hand, the one you've used a thousand times, and every use carves the groove a little deeper. After enough years you can't see over the sides of it. The small word doesn't describe your world. It builds the walls of it. And you live inside those walls.
