Episode 326: Mother of Flies/Slumber Party Massacre III

Hello and welcome listeners to Episode 326 of Journey with a Cinephile: A Horror Movie Podcast. In this episode, your tour guide, David Garrett Jr., moves into February to celebrate Women in Horror, episode 13. The first featured review is the new Adams family film, Mother of Flies (2025). I’m pairing this with Slumber Party Massacre III (1990). Both feature women directors and in the lead roles. I also got to see these films for Mini-Reviews: Return to Silent Hill (2026), Godzilla: King of the Monsters! (1956), Freddy vs. Jason (2003) and Lore (2017). There is a short film that is also being covered, Cannibal (2025). I then checked out 4 episodes from the final season of the original run of the Twilight Zone. I hope you enjoy coming on this journey with me!
