Side Quest - Episode 23: Savage Weekend

Hello and welcome listeners to Episode 23 of Side Quest Podcast. On this episode, your hosts, Jake from Guitar Case Full of Reviews and David from Journey with a Cinephile: A Horror Movie Podcast stick with the theme of slasher films with Savage Weekend (1979). What is interesting here and we delve into this, we have a movie in this sub-genre before the boom. It plays more like a giallo or a proto-slasher. These are things we explore as well as what works and doesn’t. Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy coming on this journey with us!

Also make sure you check out Jake over on Guitar Case Full of Reviews along with everything else that he does along with his social media at Dark Mariachi Studios.
