SOLO POD - You’re a 17 or 18-year-old kid. All you want to do is get out of your parents’ house and live it up at college. And it’s not just a get-away either. It’s where you’re supposed to go. After all, you’ve been told over-and-over again—since you could walk and talk—that “you have to get a degree.”

So you sign the dotted line on a paper handed to you by some guy in a suit. 

Terms like “interest rate” and “payment period” don’t mean anything to you at all. And that student debt price tag? $30,000? $50,000? $100,000?
