Carrie recounts how she was discovered at age eight on a U.S. Air Force base school in England, auditioned with other girls, met Sigourney Weaver to test chemistry, and was cast in James Cameron’s Aliens, filming from her fourth-grade year through post-production looping before moving back to the U.S. She shares memories of Pinewood Studios, hotels, slime-heavy scenes, air-duct sequences, and on-set moments with Michael Biehn, Bill Paxton, Sigourney Weaver, James Cameron and more. Michael and Carrie touch on Alien, Ghostbusters, Gorillas in the Mist, The Year of Living Dangerously, Alien 3 (Newt’s death, likeness payment, and premiere), awards, and why she chose not to act again, becoming a grade school teacher instead.
