Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving

Tonight's spooky bedtime story is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. Published in 1820, this is the story of Ichabod Crane, the town of Sleepy Hollow and the Headless Horseman. It has been adapted numerous times on tv, theatre and film. The 1999 movie with Johnny Depp is delightful :)
