The Early Years: Invasion of Astro-Monster

The Early Years saga continues with one of Kal's favorite films of the Showa era! He talks about how this is the first full coproduction between America and Japan for the Godzilla franchise, the introduction of aliens to the franchise as well as the treatment of the great Ishiro Honda during and post production. Kal also discusses how this film was the point that began the downhill slide of the Showa era.
