Through the pictures of a lamp, a growing seed, and a tiny mustard seed, Jesus teaches us:

• God’s truth is like a light—it is meant to be seen, not hidden 
• God is always at work, even when we cannot see it 
• His kingdom may start small, but it grows strong and cannot be stopped
