CNN and Lemonada Media have entered a partnership that will bring video versions of several Lemonada podcasts to CNN’s “All Access” streaming service.
As part of the agreement, shows like Hasan Minhaj’s “Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know,” “Don’t Listen to Us” featuring Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody, and “Alive” hosted by Steve Burns will premiere new video episodes each week on the platform. Subscribers will also have access to selected episodes from the podcasts’ archives.
Notably missing from the deal is Meghan Markle, Lemonada’s biggest name. After a year of silence from her podcast, this new collaboration with CNN is fueling speculation that her relationship with the company may have quietly fallen apart. Some believe the deal could have helped Meghan avoid the criticism and setbacks connected to her Netflix collapse. Kinsey Schofield weighs in.
