Bonus Episode! In this episode, we are diving into and reflecting on the upcoming Sunday Gospel for January 22nd 2023 (Matthew 4:12-23) . This Gospel is one we have heard dozens, if not hundreds of times over the years. But is it merely a simple story of how Jesus chose his first apostles??
No, it is a story of utter obedience and surrender. It reminds us that in order to follow Christ with an immediacy , we must be willing to drop all of our “nets” that may be be holding us back.
