"But Jesus called them to him, saying, Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'" - Luke 18:16
Do you ever feel weary, rundown, and quite frankly just not good enough? The vocation of of motherhood is one of the most difficult and yet beautiful and profound things we will ever do. Yet, sometimes we just don’t think we have what it takes. But what if the truth of the matter is that God never asked us to be good enough, but rather simply to have a good will after his own heart? What if our trust is greater and more important than our actions?
This week, I chat with the lovely Mike and Alicia Hernon of The Messy Family Project about big family living and the vocation of parenthood. As parents of 10, and grandparents too, Mike and Alicia have a passion for encouraging parents to most beautifully live out this vocation God called them to.
