2. Martha and Mary Part 2
Today, we continue our conversation around Martha and Mary, who they are and their relationship with Christ.
We move to another pivotal story in Bible history where they played a major role: Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. We explore new ideas that were recently revealed to us while studying this chapter in John's Gospel.
- How did Martha and Mary respond to Lazarus's death?
- How did Jesus respond and why did He wait 2 more days before coming to His friends' sides?
We explore many verses in this meaty chapter, especially verses 5-6 where it says: "Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. SO when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He stayed where He was two more days. "
