53. Prayer Series Part 3: Soften My Face & Quiet My Voice, with Alexandria DeRose

I'm excited to be jumping into the third part of this prayer series and second part of the prayer itself to explore the piece - "Soften My Face & Quiet My Voice." It was such a delight to have the joyful momma blogger, Alexandria DeRose, join me to explore this topic.

There is a universal calling placed onto the hearts of every woman alike to soften our faces and quiet our voices. But we must be careful here, as this does not mean we must all be soft-spoken, quiet, or passive. Rather, some of the strongest women who ever walked the face of this earth had an inner quietness set on Christ that poured out of their voices and faces, leading others to God himself.  Momma Mary herself, who "pondered all these things in her heart," exuded incredible strength as her mother's heart was pierced with a sword at the witness of her son's suffering.

So please join me and Alexandria as we explore the beauty of our feminine genius, to soften our faces, quiet our voices and receive all that Christ has prepared for us.
