7. Preparing our hearts for Lent
In this special episode we kick off our new Lenten Series where we will be diving into what it means to have our true Identity in Christ.
We will explore the deeper meaning of what Lent is and the great gift that the Church has given us through this penitential season. We briefly explain the history and then explore the sacrifices we are called to make during this season so we can prepare our hearts for the Paschal Mystery- The Life, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord.
We place our Trust in the Lord, that He will reveal to us the areas of our lives we need to detach from so we can allow Him to enter more fully into our souls. Jn 3:30- He must increase, I must decrease.
Psalm 10:17: LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear.
