Today we discuss Lemania Calibre 1872 2 register Chronograph in depth. 

Its been to the moon and back many times and as far as I know its the only calibre approved for USA astronauts. 

Its been used and put into fine timepieces by Patek Phillippe, Vacheron Constantine, Audemars Piguet and Girard Perregaux. 

Why is this movement so popular?

 Developed in the 60's jointly with Omega, it has flourished and has been adapted by the finest makers of timepieces in Switzerland.
