Dr. Rekha Mandel of @balancedlifemd and co-founder of the Women’s Body & Soul Collective is our lovely guest today! Dr. Mandel, wife and mother of 3, is a double board certified doctor in both internal and lifestyle medicine. In this episode, she shares the Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine and how to implement them. She was sick of seeing so many chronically sick people, so she set out to study Lifestyle medicine and has made it her mission to teach preventative care and wellness through diet and lifestyle changes. She is passionate about finding the root cause of disease in her patients, and sharing health tips so people can build a foundation to live a meaningful, healthy life.

In this episode she shares 8 tips on how to implement these pillars into our life:

  2. Habits are the key to wellness

  3. Eat a whole food, plant forward diet. Fill the majority of your plate with fruits & veggies
