When it comes to 80's type 3's no one can forget George Delfinos Shockwave. It was first featured in Hot VWs Sep 1984 as a full body light blue square back with graphics. Don't forget the 4-12" subwoofers & 1400 watts of stereo power. The George decides to raise the bar! On a whim while being bored George takes a sawz all to the square backs roof. Then begins the build of the decade. George also has been into car audio even owning a stereo shop. Hear about the times during the 80s in Bakersfield where high tech looking VWs were the norm.
