Dan was just a small town boy that move to LA. Working at Small car specialties on a whim wrote an article for VW Trends. He then ended up in the high-paced world of print media. He rode that wave up and down. It was a crazy time of Bikini models and cars shows in the height of the VW scene. VW Trends was also an outlier. Trying to be a little bit different with covers & stories out of the norm. The rival to Hot VWs.
