Let’s Talk Spanish | Spanish Listening Practice with Travel & Culture
In this advanced Spanish listening practice, learn about the hard but noble life of Adolfo Pérez Esquivel.
Pérez Esquivel is an Argentine sculptor turned activist who has fought for the rights of campesinos and political prisoners throughout South America, despite the risks of doing this.
His struggle for human rights led to his imprisonment and torture in Argentina for 14 months without trial. Due to his struggles, Adolfo received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1980.
