Rope Holders

Who is holding your rope? There was a woman called Rahab who risked her life by becoming what Pastor Steve calls a ‘Rope Holder’. A ‘Rope Holder’ is a metaphor for what Rahab did as she held on to the rope of two spies and lowered them to safety. When Rahab gripped that rope and held on, she secured her destiny, saved her family, ensured the promises of God for a generation and even ended up in the genealogy of Jesus. You can ensure God’s promises by simply holding the Rope for others, and by carefully selecting who is holding the rope for you!
