Today on the Life, Death, and the Space Between Podcast we are back with Dr. Tony Cicioria, a renown orthopedic surgeon with a very busy practice who had no interest, time or talent for music until he was tragically struck by lightning in 1994.
The bolt was enough to kill him, but he was soon resuscitated after having a powerful near-death experience.
Soon after his NDE, Dr. Cicoria developed a sudden craving for listening to classical piano - Chopin, in particular.
Today, we discuss…
- His near death experience
- What changed in his life after his NDE
- How his NDE changed his view of science
- Three major life takeaways from this experience
I am also dedicating today’s podcast to my Uncle Richie Sherman, who is also an orthopedic surgeon and a skeptic.
