How to be Honest with Yourself - Daily Wisdom #20

Welcome back to Daily Wisdom.

In the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu says that those who know others are wise, but those who know themselves are enlightened.

I have always found this distinction powerful, because knowing oneself is not the same as thinking about oneself. And many of us think about ourselves constantly. We analyze what we should do, what we should have said, what kind of person we are becoming, what others might see in us.
