I think sometimes we are asking ourselves the wrong question as parents.
If we think about parenting as a system of rewards and punishments in an attempt to control behavior, we will be asking ourselves "What does my child deserve?"
But does our Heavenly Father give us what we deserve? Or does He give us what we need in order to become better?
