386 - If You Love Me, You’ll Obey My Commandments

Today's episode explores a statement that is often seen in scripture, "If you love me, you'll obey my commands." While most interpret this as a 'proof' statement – by obeying God's commandments you prove your love for him – this statement also has a cause and effect layer to it. As we love God more, we become positioned to better obey his commandments.
