Om avsnittet
Imagine this: It's the 15th century in Florence. Knowledge is spreading from notebook to notebook, going “viral” without a single printing press. A passage from Dante's Divine Comedy circulates through handwritten notebooks. Someone copies it. And someone else finds it, adds their own thoughts, writes it down, ready to be shared later. Today, I want to tell you why the personal knowledge management systems you're probably struggling with right now aren't actually new at all. They have deep roots—and that history can teach us something interesting about how to build knowledge systems that actually last not just for a live time but for generations. Therefore, we will end this episode with three intriguing lessons.
