Colour Energy, Closeted Mediumship & Soul-Led Living with Mary Beth Thompson

In this vibrant and heart-opening conversation, Hannah is joined by US-based intuitive life coach and psychic medium Mary Beth Thompson of Soul Shines Coaching, who shares her unique journey of discovering mediumship without ever knowing it could be learned—and how colour, coaching and spirit have shaped her soul-led path.

✨ In this episode:

• Mary Beth’s first undeniable spirit visitations and 20 years of “closeted mediumship”
• Why the pandemic nudged her toward spiritual life coaching—and how spirit tapped her on the shoulder (again!) to go public with mediumship
• Colour energy coaching: how working with colour frequencies can unlock growth, clarity, and intention
• Communication as a spiritual skill—and how her background in PR became a superpower
• Losing her brother and the reality of grieving as a medium
• Why spirit is never far away—and how her brother proved it with an uncannily timed Facebook post
• Thoughts on spiritual regulation, certifications, and the rise of untrained mediums in the social media era
• Living a life of alignment, empathy, and trusting the call—even when it terrifies you

This is an honest, uplifting, and inspiring episode about finding your way without a rulebook—and the healing power of saying yes to spirit.

I'm starting a circle, and you're invited.

Most people developing their mediumship are doing it on their own. From September I'm running a monthly development circle inside Spirit Social, where you practise with other people instead of just reading about it. Over 12 monthly live events, alongside daily card readings and live demonstrations.
