David Hale: Confidence, Connection & Coming Home to Mediumship

In this episode of Mediumship Matters and the Spirit Social Meet the Creator Series, Hannah welcomes back the brilliantly honest and down-to-earth David Hale — medium, teacher, and co-host of The Spirit Lounge Podcast.

David shares how his confidence on platform has grown since their last chat, reflecting on the powerful lessons he’s learned through back-to-back demonstrations, vulnerability, and finding balance in his work. He opens up about the importance of self-awareness, valuing your worth, and staying authentic in an industry that can sometimes lose sight of its purpose.

Together, Hannah and David dive into the reality of mediumship — the nerves, the triumphs, the moments that make you question everything, and the joy of rediscovering why you do it in the first place. David also talks about creative expression through spirit art, the unexpected influence of his drag background, and how humour continues to “lift the spirits” both on and off stage.

✨ A witty, wise, and refreshingly real conversation about growth, grit, and grounding in spiritual work.

I'm starting a circle, and you're invited.

Most people developing their mediumship are doing it on their own. From September I'm running a monthly development circle inside Spirit Social, where you practise with other people instead of just reading about it. Over 12 monthly live events, alongside daily card readings and live demonstrations.
