This week I’m wading back into the thorny topic of names in mediumship — and wow, what an energetic storm it’s stirred up. From showboating mediums declaring “I always get names” to TikTok takedowns and fraud rumours, the noise has been deafening. But underneath it all lies a bigger question: what really matters in a sitting?

I share my own frustrations, my imposter syndrome moments, and why I believe evidence is important — but not at the expense of healing and presence. Along the way, I tell the story of two stags in the New Forest (a reminder that spirit’s magic shows up in its own way) and close with a powerful perspective from Jeffrey Marks that just might shift how you see “the name problem” for good.
