NPCs, Cake & the Myth of Spiritual Hierarchy

In this bold, funny, and deeply compassionate episode, Hannah explores the spiritual community’s growing obsession with “NPCs” (non-playable characters), spiritual elitism, and why judging someone else’s path as less valid might be the opposite of enlightenment.

✨ In this thought-provoking solo episode:

• The Dolores Cannon quote that sparked the NPC spiral
• Why thinking others are “just background characters” says more about us than them
• A big reframe from spirit—using cake as a metaphor for soul experience
• Flavours of cake as life experiences: no top tier, no hierarchy, just preferences
• Law of attraction and privilege—what about people who can’t just think their way out of hardship?
• Why being spiritual doesn’t mean being right, better, or above
• The danger of turning spiritual development into a religion of “positive vibes only”
• Boundaries, trolls, judgment and unconditional love (even for Marmite)
• Owning your own flavour without shaming someone else’s

It’s honest, challenging, and joyfully real—a powerful reminder that mediumship is about love, not hierarchy.

I'm starting a circle, and you're invited.

Most people developing their mediumship are doing it on their own. From September I'm running a monthly development circle inside Spirit Social, where you practise with other people instead of just reading about it. Over 12 monthly live events, alongside daily card readings and live demonstrations.
