Special Interview: Spirit, Trust & Serving with Heart – with Medium Paul Smith

In this down-to-earth and powerful interview, Hannah Macintyre is joined by her friend and fellow medium, Paul Smith. Paul shares his journey from a lifetime of spiritual awareness to becoming a working medium, teacher, and demonstrator for the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain. Full of wisdom, warmth, and humour, this episode celebrates the heart of true mediumship.

This inspiring conversation explores:

• Paul’s awakening after a near-death experience involving his wife and daughter
• The turning point that led him from scepticism to deep service with spirit
• What it's really like working with the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain
• The most profound experiences Paul has had while working with spirit
• His love for physical mediumship, trance work, and being a spiritual battery
• Powerful teachings on trust, patience, and the importance of sitting in circle
• Why mediumship is a journey, not a destination—and how spirit takes away what isn’t used wisely
• Honest thoughts on ego, ethics, and being grounded in your work

With stories of angel encounters, physical phenomena, and tender spirit connections, Paul reminds us that mediumship is simple—but sacred—and that when you follow spirit’s lead, the path unfolds in beautiful ways.

I'm starting a circle, and you're invited.

Most people developing their mediumship are doing it on their own. From September I'm running a monthly development circle inside Spirit Social, where you practise with other people instead of just reading about it. Over 12 monthly live events, alongside daily card readings and live demonstrations.
