Real Housewives As A Sociology Master Class & Why The OGs Still Hit Hard Ft. Antonia Hylton

This week, Dylan is joined by Antonia Hylton who you may recognize from MS Now to talk all things Housewives, reality TV, and why Bravo might actually be one big sociological experiment. They get into why RHUGT proves the OG Housewives still have it, the lasting impact of Nene Leakes and classic RHOA on pop culture, and why those early Atlanta years still hit harder than almost any other era. Then, they break down Karen Huger’s place on RHOP, why she & Gizelle are the pillars of Potomac, and why Salt Lake City doesn’t need Jen Shah to come back. Plus, they discuss the staying power of Real Housewives, the difference between Housewives and shows like Love Island, and why reality TV can tell us more about culture, relationships, and friendship dynamics than people give it credit for.
