Submitted by: ScareCrowBSG Built by: ScareCrowBSG What is it? A mix of Medieval, Viking, and Colonial fort with splashes of other styles incorporated into and drawn from.

The gate is a spiral piston gate with pressure plate activators so people can get into/out of the fort without assistance. The walls and gates took about a day and a half to complete.

From the gate you can see 3 major structures. To the right is the Temple of rapnit, built in honor of one of our newest moderators. To the left is the Targon Center of Learning, built in with the assistance of Targon0207 who let me accompany him on many adventures into the resource map. Directly in front of the gates is the Town Center, a redesigned Desert Temple in the same style as the rest of the build. These 3 builds together took about 2 days.

Directly in front if the Temple of rapnit you will find the Community Farms which feed both the people of the fort and the livestock they keep. Next to the Targon Center of Learning is the Residential Row, where out good people live. Behind the Town Center are the Husbandry Hovels, where the livestock are kept until “needed”. The final building is The Great Forge, an Iron Golem farm built into the semiautomatic furnace and building material storage room. These buildings took about 2 days to complete.

The whole build took about 6 days.

This was a fun build to work on. Most of the cobble/stone was lifted from the 3 donation huts: The one in Main Spawn, FolkyHobbit’s in North Spawn, and rapnit/SuperBeez/ZombiePigman_42’s in Desert Spawn. The wood is all Dark Oak, with the exception of the Husbandry Hut’s roofs being made of Acacia for contrast. The beacon was donated by AdoboandRice. My thanks to the many other players who gave me constructive feedback and I hope to continue working on projects with them in the future.

Why? While I built this by myself, this build was a pseudo-community project (at least from my standing). With supplies and critique provided by other players, my style improved and my vision took shape. And I even met some new people along the way.
