Rime of the Frost Maiden Session 88: The Arcane Octad

These steps are pretty confusing to me. Why would the people of Ythryn design a system like this? Or maybe it’s the nature of the magic that requires it? I’m not certain, but it’s too much. I’d have stopped once I found out there were eight steps to this thing. I guess that’s why I’m not part of this group, right Max Hedman?
