The husband did it. It’s become a trope, a common practice, to assume that the husband is always responsible when a wife goes missing or turns up dead. On September 12th 1905 a woman was born who would disappear without any warning. A woman who, when her body was found, would become one of the many victims who fit inside that massive category.
