Breathe in…
Breathe until you feel
Your body expanding,
Opening,
Releasing.
PAUSE
And with your next breath,
Imagine standing on top
Of the ocean,
Comfortably walking
Along the surface of the water.
PAUSE
Looking down,
The deep sapphire blue water
Captivates you
With each step.
PAUSE
Looking up,
You gaze into a cloudless sky,
With a golden sun
Smiling down on you.
PAUSE
And, as you look
From side to side,
There is water flowing and moving
In all directions.
Beautiful, limitless water.
PAUSE
Now, imagine a wave
Just beginning to form
Beneath your feet.
It slowly reaches out,
Folding in more water
And growing in the process.
PAUSE
As the wave grows,
So does your vision
Of your life,
Of your future–
A vision of all the possibilities
Before you.
PAUSE
The wave rises more,
And with it,
So does your confidence
And your understanding
Of the freedom
In your grasp…
The freedom to choose your path.
PAUSE
The wave begins to crest,
And billowy white foam
Surrounds your feet,
As you continue
Walking on top of the ocean.
PAUSE
You pause for a moment,
Deciding which way to venture,
Knowing that you have the freedom
To choose any direction,
To walk any way you like,
At any given time,
Without limits.
And it feels good.
You have the freedom.
Always.
