So much better Your way – Morning Prayer, Monday, Proper 19

Join me live in our Prayer and Worship Facebook group Monday, September 25 at 7pm central time. I’ll share a bit about the Podcast and what’s coming up in the future! Join our Facebook group here!

It’s Monday of Ordinary Time, Proper 19 in the Church Calendar. September 18, 2023.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Defender” by John-Paul Gentile, Steffany Gretzinger, and Rita Springer with a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 56 and 57 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is 1 Corinthians 1:1-19 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day followed by a time of spontaneous, prompted prayer.

Proper 19 – O God, because without you we are not able to please you mercifully grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct and rule our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
