It's a metaphor. The island is Vietnam. And King Kong is the Vietnamese people? Maybe? And the Skullcrawlers are ... listen it's a movie where the big monkey does big punches that looks like Apocalypse Now sometimes. Don't read too far into it.
This week, Nando, DJ, and Diggins ride a crashing helicopter into the orange and blue tropical paradise that is Kong: Skull Island.
