Joe & Adam delve into The American, Anton Corbijn's low-key thriller from 2011. Never mind George, the film is gorgeous to look at, but Joe has all kinds of nitpicks, spanning such trivialities as the star-power of 'Clooney', to the very tone of the flick. Such downbeatery doesn't keep Adam down though, oh no, he loved it, and ponders who's the modern-day Clooney.
