Muhammed argues that the Quran should be evaluated as an independent scripture with its own evidence for divine origin, rather than being validated through comparison with the Bible or Apocrypha. He challenges the claim that the Quran borrowed from Apocryphal sources by pointing to historically accurate details found in the Quran but absent from both the Bible and Apocrypha—such as Pharaoh claiming divinity and Abraham's people worshiping the sun, moon, and Venus (Ishtar). He maintains that because the Quran contains unique historical information that was not accessible in 7th-century Arabia, it cannot be explained as derivative, and therefore should be accepted on its own terms as revelation from God.
