Discovering the True Essence of Discipleship
Om avsnittet
In this episode, John and Fr. Stephen Sanchez dissect evangelization, guided by the Apostolicam Actuositatem, the conciliar decree of the Second Vatican Council. They stress that evangelization involves creating well-educated disciples, who are deeply rooted in their faith. Turning their attention to discipleship, they dive into an introspective journey, highlighting the importance of self-examination. They discuss the significance of our union with Christ and how this bond should inspire an overflowing charity within us.
Evangelization without charity can lead to dangers that we cannot ignore, and our supernatural nature needs to be acknowledged. Reflecting on one's discernment processes, they delve into the consequences our decisions could have and stress the need to weave our spirituality into the fabric of our daily lives. Our relationship with Jesus Christ should be the cornerstone of our family life, work life, and leisure activities.
