When Someone Uses Your Pain and Vulnerability Against You

This prayer is for the person who opened their heart to someone they trusted — only for that person to repeat their story, mock their pain, or use their vulnerability as a weapon.
Your openness was not the mistake. Their decision to misuse it was. You were not foolish for hoping someone would treat your heart carefully.
In this prayer we breathe together, release the shame that never belonged to us, and ask God to restore our confidence, our dignity and our ability to trust wisely again.
