36.09 - MU Podcast - The Strange World of Genius Animals

Welcome to Mysterious Universe season 36 episode 09! Today we investigate the strange world of genius animals of the most impressive calibre: Wizard Pets that earn their keep in life… and in our hearts. From mathematically inclined K-9s, to prophetic pups, to exceptionally conversational horses with a lot to say, including, but not limited to, where to find the bodies of dead loved ones.

For our Plus+ extension, we go headfirst into The Shining Island by Jason Quitt. Jason does a masterful job of tracking the myths and legends of Plato, Egypt, and more into a picture of what Atlantis might be...or rather might not be. Join us as we examine everything from primordial water, the Axis Mundi, to infinity & beyond.
