26. EyeTech: Smart contact lenses & more with Dr. Ashley Tuan

In this episode, I had a pleasure and honor to interview, Dr. Ashley Tuan. 
Dr. Ashley Tuan is Vice President of Medical Devices at Mojo Vision and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. With 20 years of experience in Ophthalmic Medical Device innovations, nineteen patents and two successful start-ups, her expertise includes R&D, Clinical & Regulatory Affairs and Product Strategy. She has delivered two innovative contact lens products and three Best-in-Class presbyopia (age-related farsightedness) solutions to the market. 

She is not only an Optometrist, but also holds an MS in Physiological Optics, and she earned her PhD in Vision Science from the University of California, Berkeley. 

In this episode we dive deep into her journey which is truly inspirational.
